    The sampans (or are they just boats) in your photo do not look like the sampans from the old days. Are these modern sampans?

    I think sampan is just the tourist-oriented word for those boats. They for sure don't look like the pictures of sampan on wikipedia and for sure have more than three pieces of wood!

    Does Hong Kong still have the boats called "junks" (I think)?
